The PSL Multipurpose Hydraulic Press is a universal electro-hydraulic solution designed for bending, stamping, and sheet metal straightening.

In its complete configuration, the press can perform up to three different processes within a single mechanical workshop, providing a flexible and space-efficient solution for diverse workshop requirements.

Designed with robust structures, precision-machined components and reliable mechanical systems, Mossini presses are suitable for both general industrial production and high-volume manufacturing.

The complete version includes the equipment required for sheet metal bending, including a bending support and punch, V-shaped prism, and front sheet metal supports.

Designed for stamping operations using the upper and lower plates with T-shaped grooves and the dedicated punch.

Suitable for straightening metal components using the dedicated straightening punch.

Basic Model

The basic PSL model is designed for stamping and sheet metal straightening.
It features upper and lower plates with T-shaped grooves and a dedicated punch for metal straightening.

Complete Model

The complete PSL model adds the equipment required for sheet metal bending, allowing the press to perform three processes in one machine.

Flexible Operation

The PSL electro-hydraulic press is available in 70, 100, and 150 ton models, with both semi-automatic and automatic operation.

Semi-Automatic Operation

The semi-automatic system requires simultaneous use of the operating lever and start button. End-of-stroke sensors control the cylinder's upward and downward movement.

Automatic Operation

The automatic version provides enhanced control for bending, stamping, and straightening operations.

The cylinder can be operated using double push buttons, providing approach speeds of up to 29 mm/sec, or by foot pedal for approach speeds up to 10 mm/sec.

The automatic version also features cylinder end-of-stroke sensors and automatic return of the work surface. It includes a Siemens PLC and Rexroth solenoid valves for advanced machine control.

Maximum pressure valve

As a safety measure to guarantee the operator's safety and to safeguard the machine, a maximum pressure valve is installed inside the hydraulic control unit on all hydraulic presses produced by SICMI.

Anchoring electrical cables

The tubes for the passage of the electrical cables are anchored to the press frame by means of special collars.

Unlike many competitors who use simple plastic ties that are destined to dry out and break quickly, these collars are made of highly resistant material and are screwed to the structure of the press

Anchoring hydraulic pipes

As a safety measure, the hydraulic hoses of all the presses produced by SICMI are firmly fixed to the machine frame using special collars which prevent any movement of the hydraulic hose. These collars have the base welded to the frame, while the upper part is screwed.

Stopflex anchor

All SICMI hydraulic presses are equipped with the Stopflex hose retention system, designed to secure pressurized hydraulic hoses and prevent uncontrolled movement in the event of fitting failure.

The system helps reduce the risk of the whip effect, protects personnel and equipment, and limits hydraulic oil release into the working area.

Anti-fall and anti-explosion valves

All SICMI hydraulic presses are equipped with anti-fall and anti-burst safety valves to protect the operator and machine.

  • Anti-Fall Valve — Keeps the hydraulic cylinder securely in position if a hydraulic hose fails, preventing the upper platform from falling.
  • Anti-Burst Valve — Releases excess hydraulic pressure if it exceeds the permitted limit, helping protect the cylinder from damage.

Current transformer

24V Low-Voltage Control System

The press operates with a 400V three-phase power supply. For operator safety, a transformer inside the electrical panel reduces the control voltage to 24V, minimizing the risk of electric shock.

Stem anti-rotation device

The anti-rotation device of the cylinder rod is a safety system which prevents twisting of the rod and therefore serves to keep any molds fixed to the cylinder in line.

This system is a sort of metal jaw with two holes: the stem is inserted inside the larger hole, while the guide rod slides through the smaller hole.

Cylinder limit switches

The press allows precise stroke adjustment through microswitches that control the cylinder’s maximum descent and ascent positions

  • Semi-Automatic: Microswitches stop piston movement at the set position
  • Automatic: The piston automatically returns to Top Dead Center (TDC).
  • Digital Touchscreen: An encoder replaces the microswitches and continuously measures piston position with 0.1 mm accuracy.
